Our Services:
Soup Kitchen
Program participants can receive three meals with the following schedule:
Breakfast: 8:30 a.m.
Lunch: 11:00 a.m.
Dinner: 4:00 p.m.
Emergency Shelter
Emergency shelter beds available for adults facing homelessness. There are program eligibility requirements for participation. Please call us for more information.
Transitional Housing for Veterans
Transitional grant per diem beds available for Veterans facing homelessness in Puerto Rico. There are program eligibility requirements for participation. Please call us for more information.

Road to Permanent Housing
Casa del Peregrino Aguadilla, Inc. provides supportive transitional housing and case management to help veterans exit homelessness and move into permanent housing.
- Safe, structured shelter in Aguadilla, P.R.
- Dedicated specialists to help navigate health, legal, and financial goals.
- Income-Based Rent is typically capped at 30% of the veteran's income (or $0 if they have no income).
- Job training, resume building, and placement programs.
- Direct connection to mental health care, substance recovery, and medical treatment.
Prevention of Homelessness
The Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) grant, launched by the VA in 2012, addresses Veteran homelessness and housing instability through trauma-informed, Veteran-centered services. The program focuses on two main strategies:
- Rapid Re-housing: Helps literally homeless Veterans quickly secure permanent housing through housing navigation, temporary financial assistance (rent, utilities, move-in costs), and case management for long-term stability.
- Prevention: Assists Veterans at imminent risk of homelessness with crisis resolution, financial support for arrears, and case management to maintain housing.
For over a decade, Casa del Peregrino has provided flexible, individualized services to rehouse and stabilize thousands of Veteran households island wide.
